Aiken, SC--For the first time in school history, the pacers of USC Aiken are set to host the NCAA tournament, at least the first three rounds. This years team rolled to the regular season conference title then picked up the tourney crown as well.

Now they'll host Belmont Abbey Saturday night at the Convocation Center. Talk about a team brimming with confidence, yea, Vince Alexander and the crew have just that. At the start of every year they set certain goals, and so far, they're right on the mark and have no fear of anyone.

"We know what we had to do to accomplish these goals and being the Peach Belt regular season champions and being the tournament champions, that was part of it" said Ronald Zimmerman

"We came through because our guys fight" said Vince Alexander "They have this will about them that you know that we're not going to quit. I don't care of it's three minutes left, I don't care if its two minutes left, we're going to play and we're going to play to win so that helps a lot."

Home court could be big, Pacers have lost just once this year at the Convocation Center.
