It's all about the little things for the No. 3 USC Aiken Lady Pacers. Mike Brandt's girls have done nothing so far to lessen their status as a national power, sitting at 5-0 and counting, and there's a reason behind it.

When you play that well, it can be tough sometimes to find motivation, but this team does it through accomplishing small goals that combine to build up to their national championship dream.

And of course, the main thing...just find a way to get that win.

Point guard Brittany Hill said, "We kind of set small goals to get up to that big goal. So, we had preseason: get bigger and faster. Now we're going to before conference: win all those games. Then do good in conference and just keep climbing the ladder pretty much."

"The most important thing, and what we've been doing, is take care of business and get the win," added Brandt. "Like I told them in the locker room after their game against Benedict, 'It doesn't matter if you win by one or win by 20, when it comes to those region rankings at the end of the year, all that matters is you need those W's."

The Lady Pacers are back in action Friday night. They hit the road to another national tournament team from last year, Wingate.
