NeSmith and Waters make it through to match play at the US Amateur

Atlanta, Ga--Greenbrier product Chris Waters shot a 69 today to finish in 8th after two rounds of the US Amateur qualifying. North Augusta's Matt NeSmith also made it through the second round of stroke play.

Waters started the day at -2 and shot another -2 under round to get himself into the match play portion.

NeSmith had some work to do but came up clutch in shooting a 69 to finish at +1, one shot better then the cut line.

Both will now play in the match play portion starting Wednesday. The winner and runner up of the Amateur both get an automatic birth in the 2015 Masters
