Athens, Ga--Before you know it we won't only be into the high school season, but the college ranks as well. For the Bulldogs, they'll have a new starting quarterback for the first time in four years.
Hutson Mason is ready for his roll and ready to take over for Aaron Murray. He got his first real taste of being a starter after murray got hurt late in the year and did a good job. But being a senior, Mason realizes he's got to get it right from the first snap of the year.
"It being the first and only year that you get, I tend to put a little bit of pressure on myself becaus I know I only get one shot at it." said Hutson Mason "I know there's no redo and no time to kind of get your feet wet, so really I've been just trying to take the bull by the horns and be proactive and work hard."
Mason did lead the Dawgs to a come from behind win against Georgia Tech. He certainly won't have to do it alone, especially with the stable of running backs behind him who can tote the mail.
