Augusta, Ga--Once again the James Brown Arena is undergoing a transformation, from hockey to horses with the Futurity set to start. One of the highlights is the PBR bull riding Saturday night.
Both outside and inside the arena is taking a different look to it. Come Saturday, the join will be jumping with the longest eight seconds in the sports. This year's event has a local flavor. Hephzibah's 18 year old JP Cook will get on board. Cook has been riding since the age of nine but this will be his first PBR event, which is the big time.
"There won't be any words to describe it" said JP Cook "It's going to be different. I like the adrenaline rush, it's pretty fun. The adrenaline runs the whole time"
Cook has traveled the southeast to ride and even out to Oklahoma and its safe to say he'll have the home town crowd behind him Saturday night. Things will start 8pm and it's always a great show.
