Whitewater, Ga--Greenbrier swept Whitewater 5-4 and 6-3 Monday night to advance to the GHSA state finals for the second straight year.

In the opener, Whitewater jumped out to an early 4-0 lead only to see the Wolfpack rally. Adam Grice homered and then in the sixth delivered a two out, two run double making it 4-4. In the 9th, Clint Hardy singled home the game winner lifting Greenbrier.

Game two started much like game one as the Wolfpack fell behind 2-0 through four innings. Again, Greenbrier got off the deck with Hardy singling in one and scoring one to tie the game. Then it was Taylor Glover coming up with an RBI double to center plating the go ahead run as the Wolfpack scored five times in the inning en route to a 6-3 win and the series sweep.

All of Greenbrier's runs were scored with two outs as they'll next take on Starr's Mill or Pope in the GHSA 5A state finals
