Augusta, Ga--Just two months away before pitchers and catchers head off to spring training with the return of baseball just around the corner. It also means minor league coaching staffs are starting to take shape.
While we don't know who will be the new GreenJjacket manager, we know Lipso nava won't be back. The team saying today Nava will be a coach in high class A San Jose when the season starts.
Nava started out as hitting coach here and then took over as manager two years ago. During his tenure he led Augusta to 159 and 158 record and a playoff appearance two seasons ago. One guy who'll be part of the staff, pitching coach Steve Klein is returing after a season away from Augusta.
The full coaching staff should be finalized in the next week.
