Augusta, Ga--Another football coaching change in the CSRA this year, this one is happening at Glenn Hills. Andrew young, after three years with the Spartans, has decided to resign and former Butler assistant Tim McClain will take over.
It's been a struggle at Glenn Hills over the years and during his three seasons at the helm, the Spartans mustered just a 6 and 24 record. Interim principal Charles Givens says young wanted to focus more on the classroom, where he teaches math.
McClain had been offensive coordinator for Butler and will help in the spring before moving over to Glenn Hills after the school year.
