Augusta, Ga--Coming off their winninest season in program history, the GRUA women's basketball team is looking for the next step. That being a trip to the NCAA tournament. Despite 21 wins a year ago, they still were on the outside looking in.

While they bring just two starters back in Becky Newhouse and Tanchelle Hollingsworth, several other girls saw plenty of playing times and made an impact. J. Ashby and Brooke McCants just two of those ladies. To make it to the level, the team knows it's time for others to shine.

"What's going to happen is that we're going to need new people to step up" said coach Nate Teymer "Whether it comes from our newcomers or some of our returners that maybe didn't get the minutes they got last year. Just people stepping up and coming together as a team"

Nate Teymer is now in his fourth year at the helm and beefed up the non-conference schedule that'll push his team before Peach Belt Conference play begins.
