North Augusta, SC--Still in the rebuilding phase, the Fox Creek predators are a year older and a year wiser under head coach Russ Schneider. After a 2-8 season, the preds have reason to believe things are looking up.

Over at the Fox Creek practice field, the attendance has improved along with the dedication to the weight room, about eighty percent of the players showed up for off season workouts. More good news, the Predators didn't lose a lot to graduation. Jaquan Williams and Alan Randell are names to remember. But coach Schneider says he's got a few players looking to lead this fall.

"They bought into it this summer. The leadership has been better than we've ever had it. The excitement's there. I'll go down in saying that this is best senior class we've had, so far, starting out the year. "
said Russ Schneider

"The team's doing good. No one missed a weightlifting (session). We've just been lifting...working hard." added Alan Randell

Fox Creek getting their travel miles in early. The Predators open the season with three straight games on the road, headlined by a week two match up with McCormick.
