Four locals compete at US Amateur

Boston, Ma--Augusta's Greyson Sigg is the low area amateur at the prestigious US Amateur after the first round.

Sigg, who will be a Georgia freshman, was two over today while Matt NeSmith finished +4, Chase Parker +7 and Lee Knox +9.

This year's Amateur is in Boston as over 300 golfers are hoping to make to match play and be among the final 64. To handle that many golfers, they are using two courses in the Boston area with the match play to be played on the historic Brookline Country Club.

Tuesday wraps up the stroke play portion of the tournament.
