Georgia is enjoying its BYE week, but a former Bulldogs great was on the field at Augusta Christian Saturday.

David Greene was leading the MVP Football Camp for young players.

Yes, the same David Greene that won more games at Quarterback than any other in UGA history.

He spent the day teaching the youngsters the basics on and off the field and offering up a few keepsakes at the end of the day.

Needless to say, this guy has a little bit of experience in the game, and he loves the opportunity to pass it along.

Greene, "I was able to get a chance to play in high school and college and got a chance to play some pro ball, so I kind of feel like I have a responsibility to kind of pass the game along. So, I had the opportunity to come out here. I got invited out here and work with the kids, and I just had a lot of fun today."

In four years under center, Greene experienced the best and worst times at Georgia so he knows what the Bulldogs are going through right now trying to bounce back from last week's loss at South Carolina.

The most important thing...making sure to remember that one game doesn't make a season.

"They work 300-and-something days out of the year just to play twelve or thirteen games. You might as well get your money's worth," Greene said. "No reason to hang your hats. We had a tough loss, but now it's time to regroup. You can always bounce back, and you never know what's going to happen."

Today's camp drew kids between six and fifteen years old, and they plan on being back in the augusta area sometime this winter.
