First round of Hootie postponed until Monday

AWENDAW, S.C. – The first round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate was postponed Sunday morning due to thunderstorms in the Charleston, S.C., area.

Tournament organizers announced that first-round play will now begin on Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. Officials are still hopeful to play all 54 holes, with the first and second rounds being contested Monday and the final round Tuesday.

Live scoring of the event will be available at www.golfstat.com.

ASU will be paired with North Carolina State and Clemson. The field includes 10 teams ranked among the top 50 in the nation, according to Golfstat.
