Lincolnton, Ga--It never ceases to amaze, every single December, one of the last teams playing is always the same, Lincoln County. I suppose it helps when you have the state's all time winningest coach at the helm. Once again the Red Devils are in the semifinals and a win away from a shot at yet another title.

This team is quite different then years gone by. No star power on this squad. Just a lot of kids who playing and take direction well. Most of the starters are underclassmen and have vastly improved as the year has gone on.

"We ended up having to cancel our jv season because all the sophomores we had were playing" said Larry Cambpell "Playing with a football team that young and still having just enough senior nucleus and leadershp hasreallty put together a really good football team."

Lincoln County hosts Dooley County friday night. The Bobcats and one of the top defensive guys in the entire southeast, if not country. Coach Campbell is hoping his team isn't intimidated by him but do know they have to get some confidence early in teh game to be successful.
