Tax season is upon us, and for Augusta's TaxSlayer.com, that meant using their biggest asset to get their name out there.

Just who might that be?

None other than Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Dale Jr. and his TaxSlayer Nationwide car made the trip to the Lady Antebellum Amphitheatre Saturday morning to give autographs and answer questions from the fans.

Some questions were racing related, others were not.

Of course the one that got the biggest reaction..."Who's your favorite college football team?"

Earnhardt said, "The team I pull for in football is the Gamecocks. I like Steve's (Spurrier) style. I like the team he built this past year. I thought he did a good job with very little compared to the schools he's playing against. He's really brought that program along. Spurrier's my man. He's a good dude."

Earnhardt spent a lot of time signing autographs and talking to fans before leaving the event. We'll see him in the TaxSlayer car during Daytona's Nationwide race February 25.
