Aug. 30, 2014 EVANS, GA-- Dale Murphy played for several teams during his MLB career, but he'll always be an Atlanta Brave . The former Brave doesn't live in Georgia anymore. Though, there's still a crowd when he visits.
Murphy spent 15 years with the Atlanta Braves. He spent two hours signing autographs with the fine folks of the CSRA Saturday afternoon.
Murphy knows a thing or two about the Braves organization. September's coming. Currently, Atlanta is only a game out of the wildcard. Murphy likes their chances to play postseason ball.
"They've been through Septembers. The good September's and the not so good September's, as we all remember. They know what it's going to take. I think they went through their bad stretch, their tough stretch. It's amazing what kind of momentum you can get going in September," Murphy said.
