Clemson expects big things from Laney product Rod Hall

Wednesday April 24, 2013

Aiken, SC--With Clemson's Growl and Prowl in Aiken last night, it gave us a great chance to get basketball coach Brad Brownell's take on Laney product Rod Hall.

The former Wildcat has already played a large role for the Tigers having started all but one game in his sophomore season. There's always an adjustment period and Hall should be over that by now and coach Brownell expects him to make a big jump this year.

"Rod has had a good freshman and sophomore year" said Brad Brownell "He's played a lot as a young player. He's one of the guys we're trying to get to improve his shooting. If he can become a more consistant shooter then I think he could become a dangerous player in our league. He's a very good defender, he's got a good assist to turnover ratio, he's a tough minded guys on our team really respect him"

Hall averaged just under six points a game while running the show at the point. He's been their defensive stopper and as you heard, they now expect him to score more during his final two seasons in Clemson.
