The offer came three months ago--to the day--but it took a campus visit for Donquell Green to make the decision. The Burke County star is headed to North Carolina.
The Tar Heels were the first program to offer the 5'9", 160-lb speedster, and he says they plan to use him as a play maker out of the slot.
The process wasn't as easy as just getting an offer and accepting for the Bears' quarterback, though.
He's been busy this offseason, attending the Rising Seniors Bowl here in Georgia and visiting UNC's ACC rival Florida State just last weekend, but in the end, the Tar Heels got their guy.
He finished his junior season with a combined 3,200 yds and 43 touchdowns for the defending state champions.
