North Augusta, SC--Once again a successful Peach Jam is in the books as the event seems to be getting bigger and bigger every year. The event also gives us a chance to catch up with some coaches about the local talent on their roster, that includes Georgia Tech's Brian Gregory.
Gregory has some high expectations for former Augustan Jason Morris. This past year morris was hampered by a foot injury that limiited in what he could do. It was one of those nagging things that stuck around. But now healthy, gregory is confident the best is yet to come.
"Really grown into a greater leadership role and we're hoping he has a tremendous senior year" said Brian Gregory "We have not seen the real Jason Morris, especially the last 14-15 months because of injuries. No fault of his own, we have to get his body right and if we do so I think he's going to have a huge impact next year."
Two years ago Morris averaged nearly eight points a game and had 28 three pointers. He's an athlete that can score in bunches and Gregory is hoping he does it on a much more consistant basis now in his senior season.
