CARY, N.C. – University of South Carolina Aiken junior closer Taylor Grover has been chosen as a Third-Team NCAA Division II All-America selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

The Rawlings/ABCA All-America honor is the second All-America honor of the year thus far for Grover, who was also recently tabbed to the Daktronics All-America Third-Team.

Grover was joined on the Daktronics All-America team by senior designated hitter Bill Gerstenslager and senior outfielder Bryce Baur. Gerstenslager (Solon, Ohio/Mercyhurst) was a Daktronics First-Team All-American, while Baur (Moncks Corner, S.C./Florence-Darlington Tech) was a Daktronics Honorable Mention All-America selection.

Grover (North Augusta, S.C./Midland Valley HS) led the Pacers and the Peach Belt Conference with 11 saves on the 2013 season. The 11 saves place the consensus First-Team All-Region selection in the top-10 in the category nationally.

The First-Team All-Peach Belt Conference selection owned a perfect 5-0 record on the year with a 0.92 earned run average.

The Pacer closer made 31 appearances in the 2013 season, pitching a total of 29.1 innings. Grover's foes hit just .154 against him this past season. He had 37 strikeouts in his 29.1 innings pitched.
