Aiken, SC--It's a top-25 matchup on the college basketball front this weekend when Augusta State hosts USC Aiken. But we're not talking about the men's game for a change. Instead, the ladies will get plenty of attention.

Here we are with a month to go and the two teams are separated by just a half game in the standings for the top spot in the Peach Belt Conference.

Nate Teymer has done a tremendous job in turning the Jags into a winner and are riding a seven-game winning streak.

On the other side, the Pacers are picking it up without Kayla Harris. This game will be decided on defense, not offense.

"I think both teams are exceptional defensive teams and kind of in different ways," said USC Aiken Head Coach Mike Brandt. "They mix it up a little bit more and their match up zone is very difficult and they slow you down a little bit. I think we really need to attack it and be aggressive, but I think it'll be interesting to see how they handle our pressure."

Both teams are giving up just 52 points a game so this could be a "first to 60, wins" type of game.

It's a 5:30 tip at Christenberry Fieldhouse Saturday with the men to follow.
