ASU facing an uphill battle rest of the season

Monday February 4 ,2013

Augusta, Ga--The men of Augusta State are trying to pick up the pieces. No question this is a team that's free falling and falling fast. They also lost their leading scorer Devon Wright-Nelson in their game with USC Aiken with an ankle injury. His injury does not bode well if it's a bad one.

"Obviously we have to deal with Devon's injury," said Head Coach Dip Metress. "That's going to be interesting. If he's out for a long, extended period of time, hopefully break all the shot clocks in the Peach Belt and win 16 to 14."

The Jags are off until Thursday when Clayton State comes to town.

With Harold Doby gone and now Wright-Nelson possibly on the shelf, offense will be tough to come by.
