LeBron: "I'm taking my talents to South Beach"

"In this fall, I'm going to take my talents to South Beach and join the Miami Heat."

With those words, LeBron James changed the landscape of the NBA. The King has been courted, and he decided to join his friends Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat.

ESPN reported all day Thursday that Miami was the front runner, and it turned out, they were right.

Looking for his best chance to win a championship right now, James felt the formation of a super team was his best choice. While Miami was rejoicing, his decision leaves behind a devastated Cleveland sports nation.

James, in large part, has been the economy in Cleveland in recent years, and, despite leaving, LeBron wanted to recognize the importance of his former city.

He said, "I never wanted to leave Cleveland, and my heart will always belong to that area, but I also felt like the greatest challenge to me is to move on."

The people of Cleveland were in no mood for LeBron's kind words. They made some heat of their own, burning their LeBron clothes, shoes, and really anything related to James. It's celebration in one city, but a messy break up for the King and his former kingdom.
