Clemson coach Tommy Bowden focuses on next challenge

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson coach Tommy Bowden says his team
must put aside the excitement of defeating Florida State and get ready for Louisiana-Monroe this week.

The Tigers defeated the 19th ranked Seminoles 24-to-18 last night at Death Valley.

It was Tommy's third straight win over Florida State and his father, coach Bobby Bowden.

The younger Bowden says his team showed good leadership and
preparation heading into the game. He thinks they'll be able to focus completely on their next opponent without dwelling on last night's victory.

Tommy Bowden got little sleep after Monday night's game. He says
he'll give the team today off from practice before starting game
preparations tomorrow.
