Augusta, Ga--For some, playing golf is just a hobby. For others like Augusta Prep Sam Odi, it's a passion. With your help, Odi could taught by one of the best golf coaches in the game.

When we last saw Sam Odi, he was one of three local golfers off to play at Pebble Beach, an opportunity of a lifetime for any young golfer.

"The whole experience was inspiring," said Odi. "Playing on 18 on the last day was just priceless."

And now, another opportunity for the Augusta Prep sophomore. A chance to attend the Hank Haney Junior Golf Academy. Yes, the same Hank Haney that is the golf coach for Tiger Woods.

"Playing with Hank Haney and being in his academy is life-changing.," said Odi. "I think 94% wnet on to a golf scholarship last year so uo can just tell the impact of his teaching there."

"I found out I was a finalist a couple weeks ago and now I need everyone to vote to win," said Odi.

Since Odi began playing at the First Tee five years ago, he's gotten very good in a short amount of time.

"Sam had a natural ability to hit the ball but had no control," said head coach Alphonso Ashford. "But once we worked harder at it, he surpassed a lot of our expectations."

So there's no wonder why Odi has such big dreams for his golf career. R

"I always look up to Charles Howell III and Vaughn Taylor, seeing their success form Augusta and I hope to be that next one," said Odi.

"I would love to see Sam be one of the first kids from the first tee nationally play on tour," explained Ashford. "That would be a great thing for him todo or accomplish."
