COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina forward Brandon Wallace has
signed a two-year contract with the Boston Celtics.
The six-foot-nine Wallace wasn't taken in last month's N-B-A
draft. However, he played for the Celtics in the N-B-A's summer
league in Las Vegas and was offered a deal. Wallace averaged six points and five rebounds during the summer.
He finished his last season at South Carolina averaging nearly ten
points and just over nine rebounds a game.
Wallace is heading back to campus to finish some classes so he
can graduate in August. He'll head to Boston after that to prepare
for training camp.
