McBride traded to Detroit

ATLANTA (AP) -- The Atlanta Braves and Detroit Tigers are
swapping left-handed relievers with Detroit sending Macay McBride
to the Tigers for Wilfredo Ledezma.
Ledezma is 3-and-1 with a four-point 79 E-R-A in 23 games out of
the bullpen this year.
The 24-year-old McBride, selected by the Braves in the
first-round of the 2001 amateur draft, was 1-and-0 with a
three-point-60 E-R-A in 18 relief appearances with Atlanta.
The Braves bullpen needed a lefty after Mike Gonzalez had
season-ending elbow injury.
