Jackets shine at All-Star game

News 12 @ 11 June 19

Rome, GA.-- Three Augusta Greenjackets faced a total of seven batters and retired them all as the Southern Division falls to the Northern Division 3-1 in the annual South Atlantic League All-Star game. Kevin Pucetas got the start in place of Henry Sosa who was promoted earlier this week, and got all three batters he faced out.

Then in the second, Adam Cowart did the same with a strikeout in the mix.

Greenjacket closer Juan Trinidad pitched to one batter in the eight and struck him out. Clayton Tanner, the other Greenjacket selected, pitched on Sunday for Augusta and did not play. The Greenjackets start the second half of the season Thursday on the road in Greensboro.
