Greenjackets get back on track

The GreenJackets (28-12) recorded their league leading
10th shutout of the season with a 7-0 win over the visiting Hickory Crawdads
(15-22) on Thursday night. Starter Henry Sosa recorded the win with a career high
seven shutout innings and Marcus Sanders drove in three runs as Augusta
snapped a three game losing skid. It was Sosa's (3-0) first win as a starter in 2007
with his previous two wins coming in the relief role and the right-hander limited
Hickory to just four hits over the seven innings. Sosa also walked two and struck
out three. Rob Grace worked the final two innings in relief to preserve the shutout,
allowing just one hit and striking out one. Sanders broke a scoreless tie in the fifth
inning with a two out, two-run double scoring both Sharlon Schoop and Mike
McBryde. Schoop and McBryde reached with one out, back-to-back singles.
