Harlem, GA --Harlem's baseball team suffered a 10-8 loss to Troup in the first round of the Georgia Class 3-A state playoffs as the Bulldogs season came to an end. The Tigers take the best of three series two games to one. The Bulldogs scored four runs in the first but the lead was short lived. Troup came back with eight runs in their half of the first to break things open. But in the fourth, Harlem fought back with a solo homer by Mike Laverette and an RBI triple by Steve Waters tied the game at eight. But the Tigers would be too tough by scoring two more runs for the final margin.
