North Augusta falls short

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC--- An exciting season came to a disappointing end for the North Augusta baseball team tonight. The 'Jackets lost game 2 of the South Carolina 4-A championship series 6-0 to Hartsville. Hartsville starter Jordan Lyles pitched a 7 inning, 3 hit shutout and the Foxes got 3 runs in the first to race out to a lead they would never relinquish. North Augusta finishes the season as Upper State champions with a record of 25-9.
