COLUMBIA CTY, Ga.---The Bassmaster Elite Series returns to Clarks Hill this weekend. 108 of the top pros in the country will be on the water, with $100,000 on the line for the top angler.
Today at Patriots Park, the fans got a chance to meet the pros at an event called Angler Alley, where the best fishermen in the world share trade secrets with the average Joes.
Fans got autographs, handshakes and tips the day before the tourney.
The Pride of Georgia was won last year by a Palmetto State angler when Davey Hite of Prosperity took home the 100-g's with a four-day total of 71 pounds and 12 ounces of bass.
This year there are two Georgia entrants in the field and six from South Carolina, including Hite.
Aiken's own Justin Williamson is in the field this time around and is looking for his first Elite Series win at the Pride of Georgia.
The tourney will air on ESPN2 on April 29 at 9 a.m.
