Zach Johnson wins 2007 Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga.---The 2007 Masters champion is Iowa native Zach Johnson, who shot a final round 3-under-par 69, ending with a 289 total.

This was Johnson's third Masters appearance, and the first major championship for the 31-year-old.

South Africans Rory Sabbatini and Retief Goosen tied with Tiger Woods for second place. Augusta native Vaughn Taylor, who was briefly at the top of the leaderboard during Round Three, came out tenth, tied with Luke Donald of England.
