We're now just two weeks away until the college basketball season gets underway. And just like the men's team, the USC Aiken Lady Pacers will hit the court this season with plenty of new faces.

Meredith Legg and Morgan Johnson are gone and six new faces are in. Three of those new players are transfers who have plenty of playing experience already, which is why the Lady Pacers are confident that they can make it four straight 20-win seasons.

"When you bring a transfer in you know that's what I expect, them to come in and play." said coach Mike Brandt "I think if we had to start our starting lineup today we'd have two returning players and three transfers so it will be a different type of a team."

"We want tp prove to everybody that we're just as good as we have been in the past or even better." said Deandra Schrimer "We have a lot of new faces here and not a lot of people know what to expect from us but they should expect us to do really well because big things are going to come from us this year."

The Pacers do return two starters in senior Kendra Chandler and junior Trianha Harris. Together, they could make up one of the best back court tandem in the Peach Belt Conference
