MACON, Ga. (AP) -- D'Nay Daniels scored 20 points to lead Greater Atlanta Christian to a 73-to-53 victory over Laney in a Class Double-A girls semifinal game Thursday night, setting up a championship matchup on Saturday with Wesleyan.
Wesleyan beat Randolph-Clay 51-to-49 in an earlier game. It's a rematch of last year's title game, where the Wolves routed Greater Atlanta Christian 75-to-56.
The Spartans (31-1) used an 11-Oh run in the second quarter to help them take a 41-to-30 lead at halftime. Jolio Stephens, who scored four points during the run, finished with 12 points.
Greater Atlanta Christian pushed its lead to 17 points in the third when Daniels made a 3-pointer, drove down the lane for a short jumper and a layup. The Spartans later took a 70-to-46 lead in the fourth on a layup by Chaney Means, who had 13 points.
Tiya Johnson led the Wildcats (29-3) with 16 points.
