Clemson cornerback opts for NFL draft

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson cornerback CJ Gaddis says he will give up his senior year to enter the NFL draft.

Gaddis started eleven of 13 games this season, finishing with 33 tackles and two interceptions.

He is the fifth player -- and second straight defensive back -- to leave Coach Tommy Bowden's program early.

Bowden says he thinks Gaddis would have benefited from another season in college, but wishes Gaddis well in his professional career.
