AIKEN, SC--South Aiken's girls soccer team picked up a 4-1 win over Myrtle Beach to lay claim to the lower state title Monday night for the first time in school history.
Nicole Neill scored twice as the Thoroughbreds jumped out to a 4-1 lead at the half and cruised to the win. This is the first title of any sorts for South Aiken and it's the furthest the school has ever gone in the playoffs.
They'll next play for the state crown Friday in Columbia.
