McCormick, SC (May 1, 2009)… Andrew Dresser (Carrollton, TX), Matthew Rosenfeld (Plano, TX) and Russell Knox (Jacksonville Beach, FL) share the lead at the Savannah Lakes Village Classic over the 7032 yard, par 72, Monticello Golf Club after posting two round totals of nine under par 135. The trio will have to fend off a packed leaderboard, complete with sixteen players within three strokes of the lead, in order to stand in the winners circle on Sunday.

Starting Saturdays third round one stroke back are Justin Smith (Franklin, PA), Blaine Peffley (Lebanon, PA), Keegan Bradley (Huntington Station, NY), Ramon Bescansa (Santiago, Spain) and first round leader Matt Harmon (Grand Rapids, MI) each finishing at eight under par 136 through two rounds.

A group of five golfers finished with a two day totals of seven under par 137, two shots back of leaders. This group includes Garrett Jones (Madison, WI), Rob Oppenheim (Andover, MA), Ben Briscoe (Wales), Phillip Pettitt Jr. (Murfreesboro, TN) and current NGA Hooters Tour Money Leader Ted Potter (Silver Springs, FL).

Other second round movers include a pair of 65’s courtesy of Mark Blakefield (Maysville, KY) and David Skinns (Atlanta, GA) each moving from a tie for 75th to well inside the cutline at a tie for 14th while Michael Welch (Quincy, MA) who’s six under par round of 66 to move from a tie for 52nd to a tie for 14th.
