It's been nearly 6 months since Josey announced they were going to be hiring a new football coach. Today, they finally announced that they have their guy.

His name is John Noah. he may look familiar, considering he's been an assistant coach around the area for a number of years. The past five years, he's been an assistant at Josey. This past year, he served as offensive coordinator.

Noah hopes to turn around a Josey Eagles program that hasn't much success since their state championship back in 1995. Last year, they had just 2 wins. but Noah is optimistic he can get them back on the winning track. And he says it's going to take more than just good coaching and good play on the field.

"Basically trying to get the Josey family back on board with us," said Noah. "Also, supporting these players, getting the community behind us, and putting the excitement back into T.W. Josey football."

Noah will have a couple weeks before spring football practice starts on May 4th.
