He's a former Evans Knight and a current USC-Aiken Pacer. but something else Ken Raborn could be labeled as is a senior star, helping lead the Pacer baseball team to 14 wins in a row.
Raborn is modest about just how great of a season, or even career, he is having but his number this year are anything but modest. he's started all 47 games, is batting .377, has 10 home runs and 57 RBI. And last week, his two home runs against lander made him USC-Aiken's all-time leader in home runs.
But Raborn isn't too worried about any of that. Instead, all he cares about is winning games, just like any senior leader should be.
"It's special yeah, but more than anything, we're winning games," said Raborn. "And I'd rather have a ring than a home run record any day of the week."
"It speaks so well of what Ken's done," said USC-Aiken manager Kenny Thomas. "He's started for us for 4 years. He's been a great player. It's his senior year and it couldn't happen to a better person."
The Pacers will put their 14-game winning streak on the line tonight against Phieffer at 6:30pm.
