AIKEN, S.C. – USC Aiken junior forward Josh Dollard was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week it was announced by the league office on Monday, Feb. 23.

Dollard (Hemingway, S.C./Hemingway) had his best week in a Pacer uniform last week, turning in three double-doubles in No. 14 USC Aiken’s three games last week.

Dollard averaged 18 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per game in three games. In total, he finished USC Aiken’s three wins with 54 points and 37 rebounds.

Dollard opened the week last week by scoring 17 points and bringing down 14 rebounds in USC Aiken’s dominating win at the Convocation Center over UNC Pembroke. He claimed five of his rebounds in the game on the offensive glass.

Dollard, who connected upon 83 percent (15-for-18) of his free throw attempts last week, now has a team-leading seven double-doubles in the 2008-09 season.
