Today, more than a dozen high school football players are signing their name on the dotted line to play college football.
The signing day frenzy started early this morning in South Aiken where JerQuari Schofield signed to play his college ball at Tennessee. The offensive lineman committed to the Vols before former coach Philip Fulmer resigned but stayed with the team when Lane Kiffin became the new head coach.
"He (Lane Kiffin) was just like, telling me about the program and what he was planning on doing and how the conditioning and stuff will be" said JerQuari Schofield "It was just the atmosphere and everything, and the history of Rocky Top pretty much."
Meanwhile, a couple of players from the CSRA are headed to Georgia Tech. Jefferson County defensive lineman Chris Crenshaw and Washington County linebacker Brandon Watts both signed to play for the Yellow Jackets.
Greenbrier's Dylan Turner also signed this morning. He is heading to Air Force along with North Augusta's Brett Johnson.
