Athens, Ga--Will they stay or will they go?? it may be the most pressing question around Georgia this time of year. Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno, the face of the Bulldog nation facing serious decisions on whether to turn pro or not.
Both have filled out some paper work with the N.F.L. so they can project just how high they could go in the draft. This is by no means a final indication, but they're just keeping options open. Many feel Stafford, who has maybe the best arm in the nation could be a top pick overall, if not a top three. He's just trying to look after himself and you really can't blame him.
"I'm going to talk to my family, I know I'm going to do that" said Matthew Stafford "I'm going to try to talk to a few people that are in the N.F.L. To tell you the truth it's obviously my first time thinking about it and doing it so I don't have all the answers on how to do it perfect but I'm going to try to make the best decision I can for myself."
Another thing to take into consideration, the N.F.L. will be instituting a rookie salary cap after this year's draft so that may be an underlying factor in their decision. Georgia takes on Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl New Year's day.
