Hephzibah, GA--A couple of former Hephzibah Rebels are all set to join the ranks of big time Division One football.
TJ Lynch and James Carpenter have signed on teh dotted lines with Western Michgian and Alabama respectively. Both going the junior college route first, but now eligable for the big time.
"It was Auburn and Oklahoma too but Alabama is close to home and you know they're good!" said James Carpenter "They have an N.F.L. coach."
"They wanted me the most" said TJ Lynx who's Western Michigan bound "I went up there and visited the place last week and I liked it. I was feeling the coaches and they were feeling me so I went up there and took it."
The irony for Carpenter, he's actually headed to Tuscaloosa and will practice with the Crimson Tide starting tomorrow. Then be ready when spring ball starts.
