Augusta, Ga--A busy season of high school kids signing national letters of intent to play at the college ranks continues today. A pair of Westside golfers have decided to play in the Southeastern Conference.
Among them, Chase Porter who's headed to Kentucky. Porter won the Georgia Junior Championship this summer at Augsuta Country Club and has decided to join the Wildcats. Classmate and fellow golfer Dykes Harbin also makes his choice and it's South Carolina. While both Parker and Harbin had tough times in making the selections, both know they've made the right choice.
"I was very impressed by everything when I went out there. The coaches, like I said, I feel like they can make me better. I just love the campus and I just love the big school atmosphere." said Chase Parker
"I don't (know anybody there), but when I went to visit, I met some of the golfers who are a bunch of cool guys and yea, I'm looking forward to it." said Dykes Harbin
