It's been a week full of college signings already here in the CSRA. From the baseball diamond to the links, some area high schoolers are heading to some big-name programs. Well, today was no exception.

This afternoon, Lakeside's Brian Carter signed to play golf at the University of Georgia. Carter joins 3 otehrs local guys on the Bulldog golf team. The senior picked UGA over SEC schools such as Alabama and says he's been a Dawgs fan his entire life, making this a natural fit. And while he hasn't even started his collegiate career yet, he already has big goals for his future.

"Hopefully, I'll win the Masters", says Carter. "Become the next Augusta native to win the Masters since Larry Mize. That's my hope and dream for when I get older."

And Carter wasn;t the only Panther signing with a Division 1 program. State champion swimmer Eric Chiu inked with Georgia Tech.
