Japan--Oliver Wilson was one of the most decorated golfers in Augusta State history. Now, he's all but assured of being the second Jag to earn a Masters invitation.

Wilson went toe to toe with some of the top players in the world in Japan before losing to Sergio Garcia in a playoff earlier today. Wilson led a good portion of the tourney before a wild final round. Several clutch putts down the stretch pushed him into the playoff. The better news, Wilson's second place finish vaulted him to 42nd in the world ranking. With just a few weeks to go, it looks like he'll be getting that invite in the mail.
