USC Aiken's Meredith Legg All-Conference Selection

AIKEN, SC – Senior guard Meredith Legg was named to the Peach Belt Conference Preseason All-Conference Team it was announced today by the league office. Five players from five different schools where selected by the league’s Sports Information Directors. The other members of the team are North Georgia’s Syretha Marble, UNC Pembroke’s Natalie Ray, GCSU’s Dominique Huffin and Armstrong Atlantic State’s Lacey Willis.

Meredith Legg was named PBC All-Conference in 2007-08 after leading the USCA Pacers in scoring with 17.0 points per game and to a share of the PBC Championship. Returning for her senior year, the native of Huntersville, N.C. led the PBC in three-pointers made and was second in three-point percentage. Entering this season, the sharpshooter is second on the PBC’s all-time made three-pointers list with 234 in her career, just 25 away from first place.

Legg and the Pacers are currently participating in the Disney Division II Tip-Off Classic in Orlando, FL. USCA will return home to the Convocation Center to take on Anderson on Sunday November 16 with a 2:00 p.m. tip-off.
