Fox Creek Volleyball Eyes Top Prize

North Augusta, SC--While football season still has a week or two left in it before the post season, area volleyball teams are gearing up for a run at a state title. Among those as legitimate contenders, the ladies from Fox Creek.

The lady Predators have gotten the job done in the regular season, rolling through the region undefeated. Having played in tournaments most weekends and having played the likes of Augusta Prep, Fox Creek is ready for anything. With a solid core of seniors leading the way, this team expects to win a title.

"We've already been there and we're going back and we know what to expect so I think that'll be a difference and we're giving our best in practice everyday and we're ready" said Samatha Bryant

"When we started winning region it slowly progressed to winning states and going further in states" said Lindsay Templeton "Last year we made it to the third round and we're going to try to beat that this year and hopefully win it this year"

Coach Bill Warnken gives a lot of credit to the girls playing club volleyball, this way their on the court all year long. Fox Creek will host a first round game monday night
