It's the day Augusta State's basketball team has been looking forwrad to for about seven months now, the start of practice.

You see it was seven months ago when ASU lost in the national title game, in their first ever appearance. With a solid corp of players returning, plenty of reasons to think the Jags can make another run deep into march. Matter of fact, last year is the motivation for this year.

"We've had diner and we're just going for dessert right now." said senior Garret Siler "We want to go back to the same position we were at last year, try to go back to Massachussetts. But before that we have to win the first game we play on November 22nd."

"That's the past for us, we're looking forward to the future right now. We're working hard, and looking to be ready to be back where we were last year." added senior Steve Smith

Jaguars open the season November 22nd against Benedict.
